Reflection for Moday, 11th February 2012

At the time, Mr. Marsigit explained about how to learning english with him at the class and home, and how to clever read, write, and speak in english. He said, he is a facilitator to us to study english. Just, facilitator, and not giving items like we did in school.
Mr. Marsigit diveded the value about four points in his class. One, value for duty is fifty percent. Two, value for quizz is thirthy percent. Three, value for inset test and final exam each ten percent. In quizz, Mr. Marsigit diveded it to three points. One, brief answer. Brief answer about using english daily and grammar test, structure test, prepotition test, and etc. The most important  test in brief answer is vocabulary test. Two, reflection at lecturing. Mr. Marsigit wished to make us understanding about english learning the day and can expressing again the items with our self. Three, online reflection. Mr. Marsigit providing an article in English and Indonesian in his blog. Then, we give a comment about his post with the subtance is a reflection like point two. We understand, and write again with our self. But, if his post in english, we must giving a comment in Indonesian, and on the contrary. And then, we write our comment in our blog with give  the title.
At the same day, Mr. Marsigit gave us how to clever to using language english. First, we must have a will like a trust and positive thinking about english. Second, we need to have an attitude. Attitude is important to repair  our english and be better than yesterday. Third, we have to knowledge. Fourth, we need a skill. Yes, skill not appear its self, but we can forming skill if we have a spirit to study and study about english. And the finally, we must have an experience. An experience can make our thinking be more adult when using english.




Reflection for Monday, 18th February 2013

Yesterday, Mr. Marsigit wished we remember that last week and the day, we need to make sure his potition and our position. He perceived that we are an adult. So, he want to trust. He trust us and we trust him. He trust us if he give duty we do it and we trust him that he giving facilite. So, based on trust. He do not giving us knowledge, but the will, attitude, knowledge, skill and experience is us. We should looking for the science because lecturing in class fall short to comprehending english. So, who are an actor in our study? An actor is our self.
So, don’t think the test is the problem or burden and fell gratefull. Because, from the test, we can measuring how our ability compare to the other. He perceived, we need positive thinking that study english is benefit. Although none of us past the test, he wished we can improve in the next test. In order that, we need to read his articles at his web blog and reflection it. He perceived, all of article that he have is languge of live. So, this is a live character. Reading, writing, traslating, reflecting, recording, answering the question, looking for difficult words, etc. The best way to do to comprehending language is remember, remind, try to read and rewrite items that he submitting at lecturing with our self language. It’s the key to comprehending a language.
Then, Mr. Marsigit perceived too, language have two components. First, about the form, two about the substance. The form need a substance and the subtance of lecturing at our class is education mathematic. Supposed we lost at middle desert and did’n meet the other people in a long time, we would lost the subtance of the languge. Our soul and spirit would lost. So, language without substance is nonsense, don’t have meaning.

3. Look up         : buka
4. Run out          : kehabisan

Then, Mr. Marsigit said, we can shearching the items at internet. The step that we do to clever english are knocking and applying. So, balance among include items and realise it like apply it.

Higher : lebih tinggi
Highest : paling tinggi
f.       Difficult : sulit
More difficult : lebih sulit
Most difficult : paling sulit
g.       Verb  (do not have a level)
Membaca : read
Betul-betul membaca : do read

This is which one difficulty of language. So, we are a determinant of our language and he will facilitate us.

* third item
1. too much : terlalu banyak
2. too much to do : terlalu banyak untuk dikerjakan
3. too complicated to think : terlalu ribet untuk dipikirkan
4. Too high to climb : terlalu tinggi untuk dipanjat
5. Too dangerous to cross : terlalu berbahaya untuk dilewati
6. Stop smoking : berhenti merokok
7. Stop to smoke : berhenti untuk merokok
8. Verb + Verb , have a pola ...ing or ... to ...
9. Mind ....ing
10. Not only ... , but also...

From common pepole, we can learning english. Step by step, minute by minute, day by day, week by week, old to long we will get new term like education languge. Mr. Mardigit ilustrated the words will as describe is read. Look into the substance, he stole disappointed because just little of us reflecting his aarticle at his web blog.
